Coe MINK Secretary Shared from Kelly Thurman via Go Fund Me: Gerri and Tom Dooley have been a part of the Vermillion, SD community all of their lives. Recently, they have had some medical bills that has stretched their budget so far that it is almost coming down to a choice of taking medication or keeping the house warm. The repeated trips to Sioux Falls for doctor visits and hospital stays has also been a strain on their budget. Among other numerous volunteer things too long to mention, both are long time members of the Baptist Church and the Eagles Club. Gerri has been in the auxiliary for 32 years only two of which she did not hold an office. Currently she holds the office of North Central Regional President. Together, they have both helped with so many benefits for others that the proceeds for those benefits over the years probably total hundreds of thousands of dollars. Tom and Gerri are planning on being in attendance at the upcoming MINK committee meeting this weekend. You can support them by donating on their go fund me page or by sending cards: Cards of cheer may be mailed to: Tom & Gerri Dooley 406 Franklin Vermillion, SD 57069 https://www.gofundme.com/dooley-family This is PWCRP Jack Charvat's son Jerry. Very sad day in the Bellevue Community.

The Sarpy County Sheriff's office responded to the scene around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday after getting a call about a worker falling from an elevated platform. Authorities said Jerome Charvat fell between 20 to 30 feet. Paramedics flew him to an Omaha hospital with very critical injuries, authorities said. He later passed away.
