MINK COMMITTEE is taking bids for someone to provide music/karaoke at the 2018 MINK Conference in Omaha, NE, and at the Grand Convention MINK Hospitality room in Dallas, TX.
CONFERENCE DETAILS Omaha, NE (April 13-14, 2017) – Downtown Hilton Hotel Play music/karaoke Music 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. Friday evening April 13, 2018 Possibly will need music for the Memorial service Saturday meeting Provides PA system for Auction Saturday afternoon 4/14/18 Music after the banquet till closing time. Equipment must be removed Saturday night at closing
GRAND CONVENTION Dallas, TX (July 8-11, 2017) – Omni Hotel Play music/karaoke in the MINK Hospitality Room 2018 Sunday - 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday - 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tuesday - 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Wednesday - 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Equipment must be removed from room after closing Wednesday
The committee does not want “canned music”, but requests that you be with your equipment during stated hours, available for requests, etc.
You will provide your own table and electrical cords.
Must be willing to make announcements concerning 50/50s, raffles, state charities, introductions and various other “jobs” over your pa system.
Must be willing to tolerate “party people”. Must assist in emptying the hospitality room at closing time.

Basket Raffle - each state is asked to furnish a basket for the raffle.
Auction - Held Saturday after the afternoon meeting. All conference delegates are asked to bring a nice item for the auction.
Ads and Boosters - Send to Lois Coe she will forward to Jeri Furby. Deadline February 14, 2018.
MINK Pin Contest - The Committee is taking submissions for a new pin design. Winner determined at January 2018 meeting. Winner will receive their 2018 registration fee.
Next meeting will be held in Moberly, MO on January 20, 2018.

The Texas State Aerie, by direction of the State Executive Board, will be distributing the funds as best needed throughout the state to help those in need. Please keep our Brothers and Sisters in this area, and the millions more affected by Hurricane Harvey, in your thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time.
