Article Post A 60-year-old man died after falling 20 to 30 feet in a construction zone near 132nd Street and Chandler Road, Sarpy County officials confirm. The Sarpy County Sheriff's office responded to the scene around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday after getting a call about a worker falling from an elevated platform. Authorities said Jerome Charvat fell between 20 to 30 feet. Paramedics flew him to an Omaha hospital with very critical injuries, authorities said. He later passed away. The reason for the fall is under investigation. OSHA has been advised and will also be investigating the incident, the sheriff's office said. **Jack was the first MINK Secretary.
